Rob and Wendy in Alaska

During our crossing of the Atlantic Sea in December 2002, Rob and I crossed the half-way mark of our circumnavigation of the globe. The Sea Fever Journal now begins with our Atlantic Crossing in December 2002/January 2003.  Previous journal entries may be read in the Archive Journal file. These journal entries cover five years of  sea adventure from Australia (1998) to the Mediterranean Sea, 2002.

BACKGROUND

In May1998, Rob Gomersall and Wendy Catlin departed Airlie Beach, Queensland, Australia to begin a multi-year world sailing cruise on their sloop sailing vessel Sea Fever.  This website is to keep family and friends around the world in touch with their adventures. Wendy writes the Sea Fever Journal which gives readers an insight into the cruising lifestyle, experiences on sea and land as well as cultural insights to the countries visited.  The journal entries are enhanced with some of Wendy's favorite photographs.

Friends and Family are encouraged to join Rob and Wendy in this exciting sailing adventure.  The Cruise Schedule gives readers an idea of where Sea Fever is likely to be found as well as share of cost fees and contact information.

SEA FEVER JOURNAL ~ Part I

The Sea Fever Journal is updated about six times per year. Those on our mail list are notified each time the journal is updated.  If you would like to be on our mail list, please let us know via seafever@seafever5.com. PACIFIC JOURNEY  ~ part II of the Sea Fever journal

The Sea Fever Journal is getting very large.  Beginning in 2005, you will find all current journal entries in Pacific Journey.  These journal entries begin with our departure from Trinidad in January 2005.
