Updated on March 06, 2008 Welcome to the Sea Fever World CruiseHome Page!Rob and Wendy in Alaska During our crossing of the Atlantic Sea in December 2002, Rob and I crossed the half-way mark of our circumnavigation of the globe. The Sea Fever Journal now begins with our Atlantic Crossing in December 2002/January 2003. Previous journal entries may be read in the Archive Journal file. These journal entries cover five years of sea adventure from Australia (1998) to the Mediterranean Sea, 2002. BACKGROUNDIn May1998, Rob Gomersall and Wendy Catlin departed Airlie Beach, Queensland, Australia to begin a multi-year world sailing cruise on their sloop sailing vessel Sea Fever. This website is to keep family and friends around the world in touch with their adventures. Wendy writes the Sea Fever Journal which gives readers an insight into the cruising lifestyle, experiences on sea and land as well as cultural insights to the countries visited. The journal entries are enhanced with some of Wendy's favorite photographs.
